Flood Entrance (including Wade’s Entrance), Gaping Gill

General route-finding is to always go under the right wall - after the crawl following the first pitch, a foot-trapping slot in the floor develops. When this ends, there is an obvious (but incorrect) way forward. However, a damp bedding on the right is the way on (and quickly, within 30m, leads to the next pitch). Similarly, after the 4th pitch the continuing crawl is the Horrocks-Stearn Crawl connection to Bar Pot Aven. Instead, go under the right wall again to quickly (within 5m) reach the head of the final pitch.
