Rat Hole, Gaping Gill

The entrance series is very miserable but only lasts for 10-15 minutes.

Very flood prone (settled weather is definitely required).

Definitely push the tackle bag in front of you rather than trying to drag it behind.

There’s adequate space to put your SRT kit on before the pitches start (but after the first short climb). The deviation at the top of the second pitch is in line with the y-hang so puts all the weight on one side of it once rigged. I’m not sure there’s anything that can be done about this, but it’s worth considering.

The tarzan swing is great fun and in good condition as of July 2022.
