Wet Weather

This is generally one of the best caves in wet weather, but caution must still be applied. I went following Storm Eunice in 2022. There had been ~40mm of rainfall in the prior 48 hours. Between the Milky Way junction and the ledge into the master cave was a waist-deep wade. The Master Cave was over half full and rising but the rescue traverse was passable. The Master Cave has been known to sump on occasion.

The Milky Way can also sump in places, as can the river passage above Toyland.
