Take your SRT kit off - it’s tight! The toll gate squeeze in particular is very tight and requires some contortion - anyone who struggles with the first part of the ancient highway will definitely have trouble here.

Traverse to Gavel Pot

No natural anchors are actually needed on the traverse - they can be ignored.

Continuation to Coal Hole

Entrance to Coal Hole is currently partially collapsed and impassable, at least from the Short Drop side.

Wet Weather

I've been down Short Drop following a relatively wet period (as far as 1st pitch) and although there was foam just upstream of South Inlet, the entrance series was as easily passable as usual.
